$37,500 Home in Dodge City

37,500 gets this HUD forclosure.

2 bdrms and 1 bath on the main floor, 2 bdrms and another bathroom in the basement. I went by and looked at it and think it's a steal at that price. Thing is, the deal is not open to investors, you have to live in the home if you are going to purchase. HUD will finance.

Not a bad price - just a really crappy area. You couldn't pay me to live in the "live round" zone. Too bad - Looks like a nice starter that could be real affordable - given it was in a safe neighborhood.

That far north on Avenue D didn't used to be that bad.....but then the old house where I grew up used to be a great neighborhood, too. Looks like it would make a drug dealer a nice house. I'm afraid nobody else would want to be in the line of fire!

That's just one block south of Comanche and the Country Club Golf Course, I don't think it's that bad of an area. If I didn't already own a house I would give it serious consideration. If it was on Ave. D and closer to Earp....no way in hell would I want it then.

I didn't realize the 1800 block was north of comanchie. My error - I can't remember what those houses looked like but that one looks beat up. I remember some really nice houses on ave A but ave D just brings to mind the houses Bubba must be talkin of........ the crummy ones. Perhaps it just needs some TLC. By the repair list thos would $3800 really fix everything they list? Consider me corrected Bubba!!!!............ LOL
