63,500 seems awful high for a 1208 sqr ft 100 yr old 3-bdrm/1 bath home in Spearville, KS. Is this the appraised value? Who appriased it?

Dining room is really only 7x7? hmmm

63,500 seems awful high for a 1208 sqr ft 100 yr old 3-bdrm/1 bath home in Spearville, KS. Is this the appraised value? Who appriased it?

Who appraised it doesn't really matter, but seeming that the house right by us, 1 level, 2 bedroom, falling apart foundation sold for almost $50,000 this is a heck of a deal! The price we are asking is below appraisal value, so not sure what to tell you....sorry!

We aren't stuck on selling it, that is why I have on there for RENT....we understand the market in Ford County right now.

The living room is all a living room, the kitchen is actually 17 by 17 or so...she seperated the kitchen into a kitchen & dining room, the kitchen is bigger than one of the bedrooms even!

Sounds like a tax appraisal. If we could sell ours for what the tax appraisal was, I think hubby would do it in a heartbeat!

Our house was appraised by Jody Wetzel, can't recall the name of the company but she does most of them in this area.....
