Ive had to rescue alot of critters... and enjoyed it to the max... the really young ones that you have to momma are the best

( Texkan ...dont go there....lol lol )

She should be easily trained to a litter box...
Get a shallow container and put her in it with a little litter... after a few times they figure it out

I find cats are very easy as pets...unlike dogs they are almost maintenance free..set out some food ... a litter box... and just enjoy their antics

I have a catdog.... he fetches.. brings the little nurf ball to me to throw again...
CATS ARE KEWL

Thats so sweet of you to keep her safe... not everyone saves animals... specially cats

I'll let her know that someone will be delivering something that day, that way she'll still be surprised and she won't answer the door with the semi-automatic weapon I left behind. (Hey, a guy's gotta defend his family, right?)

Well Wordy just left with the kitten. *sniffle*

But I'm glad she is gonna be in a good home this very same day.

My thanks to Wordy for doing the delivery and of course thanks to Sgt.T for taking her in.

The wife still has no idea whats coming. All she knows is that a Unique gift for the entire family is going to be arriving this afternoon, and that its priceless. I told her she has to be home to receive it, because its too valuable to leave on the porch. She maybe on to me though, she asked me if I got a dog. (We went around and around about a dog. Conclusion is that we can have one when I get back. But we wanted a cat too, and never set a time line for that, so I've already set one!) I am hoping that she will agree to pictures... but we'll see. Thanks again YWS and Wordie... I owe you both a beer, or two.

Oh that is priceless! LOL.............. dogs do take more work than a cat - I urge you to get your cat wormed, shots and neuter!! At least there's no "house training" for a cat. Neutered ones are so much easier to deal with later on too - male or female. I don't know if it's longhaired or not but "fluffy" might be a breed that gets hairballs........... there's meds for that too.

The Wordster just leaves me-----------well---------wordless!!

By the way, if anybody else is looking for a cat or critter; there will be some available shortly. They are survivors from the Greensburg tornado. If they are not claimed or accounted for, then they will be available to adopt.

UPDATE:
Multi-source intelligence indicates that the kitten has arrived safely at the SGT T. residence in Junction City. Further reports indicate that the kitten will now be known as "Sally".

Thanks wordy. And thank you YWS, I know that couldn't have been easy. We'll take good care of her.
