    Post old crafts to sell

I'm cleaning out a trunk that we acquired when my husband's gma passed away, nearly two years ago now. Not sure if SHE made them or her mother...but I'm pretty sure most of it is handmade. There were a few things in there that we'd like to sell. Hubby has no interest in keeping them, as they serve no sentimental value to him, and they're kind of outdated anyway. But if someone likes them...power to ya! There are pictures in one of my dodgeboard albums, titled "to sell". Some of these things are a bit stained, but I have no clue how to best clean them, or the time to do it. Anywho...here goes. Please let me know if you are interested. The prices are a minimum (hopefully). Maybe we can get an auction going on here. (I'm kind of a poor judge of size, but I think I can get the point across.)

Crocheted tablecloth, cotton I think- about 3ft x 6ft. There are a few noticeable stains, plus some general discoloration. Asking $40

Table runner - about 1.5ft x maybe 3.5 or 4ft. The fringe is a bit worn, but otherwise it's in pretty good shape. Asking $30

Embroidered flour sack (?) towels - old kitchen towels with embroidery on them. A little bigger than today's average hand-towels. Asking $15 a piece, or together for $25.

Crocheted ripple afghan, pretty sure it's acrylic yarn - about twin sized, or a good throw blanket to curl up in on the couch. Multi colored. Asking $50

Star Quilt - twin, maybe double sized, batting has very little/no lofting- pic is laying on my queen sized bed. No major stains that I noticed right off, but then again I wasn't really scrutinizing them super closely... Asking $50

Circles quilt - laid on my queen sized bed very nicely, batting has little/no lofting, no major stains again that I really noticed. Asking $90

I LOVE homemade quilts and afghans. I got my last fill-up at the amish settlement in northern Missouri. The same folks that built my bed.

Seems like no one's interested...I was hoping to sell these things locally so I don't have to spend money on shipping... Looks like I might have to post them elsewhere though and ship. Dang...

The locals are a "pack of thieves", Mouse! ;):D
Last time I had a garage sale, I went out of State to a friends, and we sold all of our stuff, and actually made money! Before that, I had one in Dodge, and most all of my stuff got stolen---

Ok then, since no one wants to take any of these off my hands from here, where else should I try to post them? And I would really like to avoid things like Ebay... We're kinda scraping for cash right at the moment (aren't we all?) so I'd like to get these pretty things sold.

OK, I'll buy a quilt or two. PM me with details on how to meet with you to complete purchase. I'm busy for a week or so with various things, so we will have to work out a convient time.
