| When was this picture taken, Detector?? It doesn't look like Ford County lake to me, unless it was more than 35 years ago? |

| Detector- That is not Ford County Lake that you are looking at. Ford County Lake is located on the correction line(Garnett) and just west of 283 highway. If you will look north of Dodge you will see Garnett, which you can tell by seeing that the north/south lines of the section lines are staggered. Follow Garnett over to almost Highway 283. You will see the curve in 283. The lake is just west of that intersection of Garnett and 283. Duke |

| The old lake was different than the new one. I think the swimming area (of which I do not remember there being one) would have been on the northeast corner where the sand bank is.
