Sewell Ditch

Is anyone intested in the Sewell Folly? That was the irrigation project west of dodge that is still visible on the hills there. I would think that would be a place to treasure hunt also as hundreds of men worked on that project. It was all done with horses and slips and shovels.

I know it as the Soule Canal. I've thought about trying to figure out where the campsites would have been for the workers. I'm guessing they would have picked a spot and camped there for awhile while digging the ditch.

I've wanted to walk and detect on the old canal for years.
Another one of those things on my list that just never get done.
There has to be some interesting things to be found along the route.

Wow. I hadn't heard it called "Sewell Folly" for a long time. Mom and Dad used to refer to it that way.
