Got mine yesterday

Got my table reserved/bought yesterday! The place in Cimarron is really nice....has lots of room for everyone. I think the youth shooting club over there is providing the meal (good support for them too!).

Yes, they are catering the meal. Steak dinners. They have a great cook.
The kids do a GREAT job, serving, cleaning up afterwards etc.

I don't need an NRA membership to own guns...the more money I spend for high dollar dinners and membership the less money I have for guns and ammo.

Yeah, but the NRA can be a powerful ally when the gummit starts talkin' 'bout restricting your private ownership of guns...........

Those high dollar dinners are necessary to cultivate relationships with others such that alliances can be formed to bring about agendas - or stop other's agendas.

In the case of gun control, the NRA has kept the liperals agenda cool.

In the case of our local Shameless of Commerce, they have given us lots of sizzle; but no steaks.

I don't have a lot of spare change either, but a NRA membership is one thing I will spend my money on. Like KCM says, they are one of the most powerful and effective organizations standing between people who support the 2nd amendment (like me) and all of the people on the far left who think the only persons who should have guns are criminals.

You know the old saying about outlawing guns. It's true.
