| I saw that one a couple of times, Texie and I laugh my ass off every time. I don't know what it is that makes me laugh about it - it's just too stupid for words. Definitely a commercial we'll all remember and that's what they're going for. But...........if the same commercial were filmed with any other race instead of dumb white guys, there's be an outpouring of complaints. Ooh, keep the tight hiney jeans on the down-low. I don't want anybody else to know. It's been so damn long since I've seen some nice tight hiney jeans - they don't wear 'em in corporate America. If they wear jeans at all, they're baggy. Usually just chinos. I wonder if any of 'em even own tight-fittin' jeans. Now ya got me thinkin'...........

| Drifter you are for sure not alone. I have been a tad shocked at this board at times. I only found it recently and spent the evening feel super sad that my old town seems to be filling up with intolerance. I am sure no one meant to offend but at the same time if things that are semi-offensive aren't pointed out then how will we all learn to treat each other better? Hi. I know this thread isn't going to make anyone check themselves and rephrase things but I said it anyway. |

| I personally find the level of "tolerance"........... offensive. The fact that your and my "old town" forgot to be intollerant and sold out to beef packers for the almighty dollar is what I find offensive. There are other ways to keep a town alive. Your old town isn't intollerant.......... hell 70% isn't "your old town" anymore........... I don't need, want, or care is someone finds my "thoughts" to be a little prickly. Hell I been "prickly" for a very long time. I tried "tolerance"........ then I grew up and learned it's OK to say what you mean and mean what you say. I am concerned that anyone may find our views and opinions offensive and intollerant............... but I must tell ya I'm more concerned about continuing to allow those same folks to sell my country and my grandchildrens future to Vicinte Fox............ Don't want to lose anyone's opinion on here - but ya have to feel free enough to post it without the PC police I can tell ya I don't think anyone is interested in learning how to treat people ona friggin forum.............. I believe in treating people better........... first can we get all the criminals that have breached our borders and broken our immigration laws to GO HOME??????? That would make me feel treated better AND I feel I could persoanlly grow from that experience. Lord imagine being surrounded by people with social morals..... that follow the rules........ that don't get rewarded for cutting in line........ that pay thier own way........ and last but not least we could be surrounded by people that have a vested interest in being and American - not just commin here to cash in and continue to support some faciast govt. ............... boy howdy......... now that's what I would call PC..........

| I personally don't care for the term tolerance/intolerance. I understand its importance but in most cases its used by the PC(politically correct) to mean you should lie about the way you feel and let others run over you. If I don't like what I see I'm darn sure going to speak my mind. Now I will try and do it with tact(tolerance) but I will do it. Years ago I saw the friction between our local(American) kids and the newcomers(illegals) and when I expressed my concerns I was told we need to teach tolerance in schools. Well we see where tolerance has gotten us. We've got to remember these people are breaking the law and that should not be tolerated. Now while lumping all Hispanics/Latinos/Mexicans together is wrong you've also got to remember if they stand up to be counted with the illegals at these rallies then they are no better in my books. I don't care what race they are and how long they've been in America if they support them then their allegiance isn't in America. If they closed their downtown shop in support they should be lumped in with the illegals.

| In today’s politics “intolerant” and “racist” have become powerful weapons used to control how folks are supposed to think. We see the result in today’s Congress were the large majority of the voters are being ignored in the pursuit of being tolerant and not being labeled a racist.

| I'm not racist and I don't appreciate being called one. I'm also tolerant to a point: your rights end where mine begin. My rights are to help make the decisions for this goernment that our citizens support. I can't tell you how much trouble I had writing the check for our additional taxes last year and this. About $10,00 in all. That's about half as much as it takes to support the services we give to illegal immigrants. All I ask is that they have a green card and are making progress toward becoming citizens of our country. Is that too much? Does that make me intolerant and racist? Then so be it. I believe that until a parent shows their desire to become citizens, then we should not make citizenship automatic for babies born here. If the children are not citizens, they should not be able to go to our schools and sip from the cup of our social welfare system. So, I ask. Where is the tolerance for US Citizens? When we allow migrants to march in our streets, but not their counterparts (US citizens)?
