Get Out and Vote Tomorrow

Again this thread proves 2 points.

1. Politics brings out the demon in people.

2. The greatest threat to a united America is politicians.

So today we are urged to go out and vote in a new demon

I've never understood the concept of politics. One would think a politicians top priority is to win the election but in reality it looks to be the goal is to try and make the other party look bad. Winning an election would be easy enough if a party were to stick to a campaign of what they can do. Instead they choose to engage in a mud sling fight which frankly makes them look really childish.

Both parties have spent millions of dollars over the last year trying to make the other look bad. At this point voters still have no idea what their plan of action might be so it's voting as usual. Like my self, most will vote based on personal beliefs. For me the two major points are Immigration and Iraq in that order. One side has tried to say Americas main issue is Iraq, but I don't believe this to be correct. They have done this because it's their only arguable issue. Since the democrats want to leave our boarders open and cut & run from Iraq my voting will be easy.

While America has it's problems things could be much worse.

Oh heck, we bitch enough about politics but at least we have our periodic say in the process. Imagine having to pay for all this political policy nonsense and NOT HAVING A SAY IN IT?
