Dodge City Trail of Fame Brings Great Entertainment

I went to this last night at the college. They will be at the Depot Theatre tonight along with a buffet.

The opening act was a bluegrass band called Kansas Heart. I don't profess to be a huge bluegrass fan but Mr. Theobald seemed like he could really play the banjo well. Bluegrass: We ARE Bluegrass Music

The highlight was to see the guy that was the Will Rogers impersonator. His name was "Will Roberts". He talked politics in a funny mannor while doing rope tricks and such. He also handles guns. He had two .45's and did the spinning, tossing ect that comes with gun spinning. I unfortunately got called up on stage to play....

What's funny about this Will...like the old Will, his jokes come from the newspaper. He had Thurs and Fri edition of the globe there and started in.

He has been here a few days and attended a city hall meeting. He joked about our race track situation, the astro turf on the football field and a host of other local issues. It's a good time indeed.

I would recommend this show!
