Grrensburg Benefit Today

There is a benefit for Greensburg tornado victims today at the Civic Center. From 1-3 there is a band and barbecue in the parking lot. At 3, the Dodge City Legend will play a college All-Star team consisting of players from KU, KSU, WSU, and FHSU. Some of the players coming are Christian Moody, Ahkeem Wright, Jeff Pruitt, etc. The team will be Coached by the HS BB Coach from Greensburg. Also, following the game, the party will continue in the parking lot.

At last count, I think they were over $5,000. Had a pretty good turnout. Thank you to all the fans, the College All-Stars, the Legend players, the band, and all the volunteers!

Nice job! Our office is hosting a fund raiser as well. Three of our agents resided and had offices in Greensburg. All were destroyed. We understand they're back on line again. The only good thing is that most of this damage was insured. On the east coast, some wind damage is not and wind coverage is hard to find. Not so in the midwest and it's still affordable. That's the only good thing to come of this whole awful mess.
