| Thanks everyone. Been a little Awol myself. Took a little trip to the homeland. Still glad to of gotten the hell out of Dodge. Not to much has changed, except that there are a couple more hotels. Went thru Greensburg on the way here to Wichta. Lot's has changed there. Not a whole lot left. Quite a sad site, but it was good to see that there were some people already starting to rebuild. Kwik shop was open, maybe the only grocery stop in town. The hospital looks like a scene out of M*A*S*H, but also good to see that they didn't abandon thier people altogether. Will be good to see in a couple of years to see how a town can come together, and put things back in order. I saw how Andover did it back in 1992, it's a hard road, but the payoff is worth the work. Good luck all in Greensburg. Hopefully in a year or two, I can get back to visit the Big Well agian. |
