| A job well done for Vin and the boys on their show. Concidering the fact all the competition that night with Bad Mojo, Country Fever, and Dave Holland band (all 3 of those bands are very talented). I was glad to see The Smokin No No's get to play Dodge City. I have played a show or two with those guys and glad to see them expand their area and get into Dodge.
Any time a Local band has an excellent crowd in Dodge City, it is a plus for all area musicians and the rep it carries. You can bet those other bands know who you are after that weekend. Congrats again
SandHill River Band shows were alot of fun. Thanks to those that showed up and there were a bunch of people. It really was like the good ole days of Dodge City yesteryear for SHRB. Maybe we will play again for New Years or some other big event, but In case your curious there was no talk of it turning into a steady gig. Yet you never know what could happen. |
