| I definatley think its way too many businesses just advertising.. It'd be alot better if they added some entertainment to it, but just driving with their business name on a car is pretty lame. A year or 2 ago there was a local band on a float "outside the circle" that was cool to see. I always liked the clowns  on the motorcycles

| Girl Scouts Boy Scouts VFW Dodge City Legends Dodge City High School (Band/Drill Team/Cheerleaders/Sports/Drama Club/ect ect) Local Health Clubs Ford County Health Department WALMART (all those employees, no respresentation? puh lease..) Dillons the list goes on and on.. There are plenty of places that want financial support through out the year, it'ld be nice to get to see the faces!!!

| I was sitting by the high school right by all of the residents from Manor of the Plains and I was really bothered by the amount of water that was sprayed on them. Where is the respect? It was horrible to watch. One lady even got wacked in the head with a piece of hard candy and let out a scared and hurt yelp. I think the water guns were out of control. There was a lady sitting in front of her house spraying everyone with her hose that tried to spray her. It was hilarious. |

| Been a long time since I was involved with the parade but I am sure that throwing candy and things from the floats was banned due to the kids getting hurt running out in the street. Did that change?

| Yep, you still have the idiots with the water guns, etc. And, not all of them were kids, either! I also get a little "PO'd" with these water guns and such. One year, I would like to have a pressured up fire hose, and knock the a$$holes right off of their ride!! See how they like it!!  Anyone remember the "drink from the firehose" in the movie---UHF??? Hilarious, my a$$!!  |

 ohhhh another pet peeve.. People that throw the candy... and then the people that let their kids eat it, then toss their wrappers on the ground. Even worse, the adults leaving their trash laying around!!!! How hard is it to pick the crap up, then toss it when you get home or somewhere else?? If you wouldn't do that in your home, then don't do it on the public streets!!!

| Look at this!!!! The 1976 Dodge City Days Parade...and thats me on my pony! My brother is behind me with the shades on. this is when the parade started in the park and ended at the Civic Center.
