| Dodge City Days Parade I thought the parade was ok this year, but missed the bands,it was nice to see the High School in the parade last year, but was hoping they be in it again this year.

| Only had one band which was the cowboy band. It seems there weren't that many floats either. It was just one big parade of people advertising their business...

| personally it sucked!!! Not enough "parade" items. the John Deere Guys didn't even bother to take their tractors off the trailers... The Highway patrol didn't even have a lead car in the parade this year......

 Well.. on an up note.. My kids loved the fact that they left with a sack of candy.. now for the downers... and additional complaints. I was disappointed myself. We sat right on the corner of First and Wyatt Earp.. The band didn't even play where we were at.. LOVED near the end where the train cut through.. that was nice.. but the kids from the alley ended up dancing all around, because of a delay, so we got a bit more entertainment. I don't know if I'm just getting older, and things are losing their excitement, or if it was just.. bleh... And I was confused as to where the State Troopers and Highway Patrol were too.. I thought they all represented for the parade in the past.. *REALLY* had been hoping to see a bigger turn out from the National Guard though. They barely had enough people to man their vehicle, let alone do much else. I suppose my biggest complaint would have to be the countless cars, that didn't have any decoration on them at all, what's the point??? Other than that, for (almost) an hour of free entertainment.. it was good.

| I couldn't go to the parade because of some meds I am on, I have to stay out of the heat (no problem with me!!). But, I couldn't find the parade on the TV. I don't know if it was televised or not. Guess I didn't miss much. Thanks for the update.

| Why don't the local clubs like 4-H and such have floats. I would like to see more floats. Big Brother and Big Sister could have a float too. They should have a float with last years Medallion finder on it also..hehehehe
