| Democratic Caucus Day Democratic Caucus Day is on Tuesday, Feb. 5th at 6:30pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall @ 800 Frontview here in Dodge. I have never done any of this before. What is the point of the caucus? Does it help determine the democratic candidate? Also, out of curiosity, can I caucus if I am not registered to vote? I plan on registering when I get moved in the Wichita area since I will eventually vote in that county.

| From what the paper said you have to be registered to vote to attend. Sorry but if you are not registered you will have to stay home and watch the results on TV.

| But Sherry - why don't you register in Ford County, then when you move to Sedgwick, you re-register at your new address? That way you could attend and learn from the caucus. It's pretty interesting.

Delegates are awarded according to how many people caucus for each person. The number of delegates a candidate has determines who will be on the ticket for the General Election in November. | Bubba I hate saying that I an wrong but I was. I went back and read the article again and you are right, on both the time and that you can register at the door as you go in. I missed the fact that you can register at the door.

| Oh and one more question! If I register at the caucus, am I required to be registered to the dem party, or can I register as "no affiliation"?
