Your first comment tends to play on the popular feeling that Republicans lie cause they are stupid and don't know better. I come back with a prominent Democrat caught lying on the stands and you redirect. Then come back with a similar statement with the only difference being that instead of poking fun republican politicians, you are lumping all republicans as "followers" and hesitate to act on their own.

Change for the sake of Change is never good. That has been said over and over. Show me what Obama has accomplished in his extremely brief time in political office! I like him, I just don't think he is the answer.

Your bringing up Bill really made no point because I gave up that point by saying EVERYBODY lies.

Then the comment that republicans lie even when the truth is better was more directed at motivation. It's not that they are stupid it's some other motivation.

And, yes, most good republicans don't think for themselves. They listen to their icons and repeat. As long as everything those icons say has something to do with the republican fortress of , God, Guns, Gays and Babies they don't WANT to hear anything else.

As far as Obama goes I'm not going to bother to convince you why you should vote for him. I don't really think he needs your help.

But the simple reasons are... if it's anyone else and a status quo republican I'm going for anyone else. Especially if that republican is Grandpa McCain who won't make it long enough to do anything but develop that nasty case of Alzheimer’s because then we have to worry about his VP. I prefer to deal with one villain at a time.

I really believe that Obama is the beginning of change that NEEDS to be made in this country. The strangle hold that big business has had on us for this long has got to go and if NOTHING else you can see how much money Obama has raised from just average people and I like that a lot.

I know why I'm pulling for him and that's all that makes a difference to me.

It's not about party line this time around. It's about what this country needs and has had enough of. Hell I'm a republican going democrat - are you saying I'm any less conservative because I feel our country is at a cross roads? I'd sell any party down the road to get our country the change it needs. Just so happens that the democrats win my confidence this time around. Seems like the republicans would try to do better. Hell look at the numbers - even the republicans can't decide who is the best republican
