Clark County Lake???? I thought it had to be within so many miles of the steer in downtown Dodge.

As I remember, it was along the highway leading to the lake at the County line.

  3. Didn't they have it under a brick or something on the old HS year? I do remember folks saying something about it was supposed to be in plain view? Like no more than 10 feet off the ground. I thought it had to be within 5 miles or 2 miles fo the steer.

    From the Globe website:

    • The clues will be posted online the day after they appear in the Globe. For example, today's clue will appear online Tuesday.
    • The medallion is hidden on public property within a five-mile radius of downtown Dodge City.
    • Destruction of property is not necessary to find the medallion and will not be allowed.
    • The medallion is not buried, and climbing will not be necessary.

Just seems to me usually the medallion is somewhere they want to bring attention to. Specifically the year it was out by Victory Electric. I kept thinking it would be out there cause their new building or something was the hoo rah of the year. Course ya never know where they will hide it. Good Luck if you are a hunter.

I love the medallion hunt. Just cool stuff.

Never did find a list of the past locations of the medallion tho. Doesn't the Globe publish that? I thought I had seen it at some point.
PFFFT!! Yea and like a couple years ago when it was up against a fire hydrant on Ave P close to the 50 bypass...they were trying to bring attention to...ummmm....ummmm errrrr....wild grass??? Summerlawn??? So you spend a lot of time looking for the medallian from your computer huh Tex? Texas must be one boring ass state.

I remember 2 years ago it was on the bridge by the water building on Ave A by the hospital. My husband was looking right at the bridge at the spot almost and I told him to come over to the other side and help me look since the clues did not put it over on that side of the street.
Of all the times he FINALLY listens to me and look what happens... it was found shortly after that at the same spot where he was going to look.
He has not wanted to participate again and will never let me live that one down!!
    Happy hunting everyone!!!
