    Medallion Hunt

It won't be long...haven't heard or seen anything in the paper yet...this Dodge City Days event (IMO) is the best...followed closely by the Great Duck quack attack...then the Rodeo and concert...

Fun times are right around the corner!!!

I have one of the DCDays "guides" that says what events are when and it says that the hunt begins on Monday July 20th. Happy hunting! :D

I don't think that would be a good idea. Too many people getting in the way of the construction.

This is the year. I'm feeling lucky!

  9. I was looking for the past locations of where the medallion was found and in my travels found that the Globe (the medallion sponsor) is on Twitter. They will be tweeting the clues as well.

Dodge City Globe (dcglobe) on Twitter

Just seems to me usually the medallion is somewhere they want to bring attention to. Specifically the year it was out by Victory Electric. I kept thinking it would be out there cause their new building or something was the hoo rah of the year. Course ya never know where they will hide it. Good Luck if you are a hunter.

I love the medallion hunt. Just cool stuff.

Never did find a list of the past locations of the medallion tho. Doesn't the Globe publish that? I thought I had seen it at some point.

One year it was on the teacher parking lot that's south of the old highschool (it was never found) and another year it was very close to Clark County Lake while another year it was somewhere near the northeast corner of town.
