| In defense of video gaming, our kids live in a different world than parents did and their future is nothing like ours. Ever notice these kids that spends hours playing video games also tend to be very computer savvy? Why read a book when you can live one?
I've never been much of a book reader and like probably a lot of others, only read a book when I'm forced. Any good video gamer finds themselves reading web sites for tips and tricks and talking with other gamers on message boards. One think a message board tends to do is improve not only ones reading comprehension, but improves spelling and crammer.
Our parents said the same about television.
