I remember a long time ago after beeson was built, the parents all had a meeting about the RR xing up the street. Someone with the school shot video from a side street of the traffic headed to 14th from Beeson school. Watching the cars pass in front of the lens was everyday traffic. The guy that was narrating the video was talking about the dangers of the traffic when a BIG Yellow school bus comes into view obviously speeding compared to all the other cars that was videoed. The response when the bus went by was a gasp followed by snickers. How embarrassed was this guy from the school when talking about speeders and ooops, someone forgot to screen the footage. Even the administrator's though it was humorus. I thought it was funny from the aspect that it had put this poor guy on the spot. Then I was mad because they all just moved right along in discussion and didn't want to discuss that school bus that just passed by in his video. They wanted nothing more than to move on and treat it like a mistake.Typical DC school admins.

When the Dodge City racetrack started promoting bus races I thought it'd be funnee to enter a bus with Jetmore Skuul painted on the side and a child-like dummy hanging from a window post by its fingers and flapping against the outside of the bus. ....

I understand the humor there.. I too have a sick since of humor, but in this case.. not laughing. BTW.. driver in quesion.... not there today

Well good - maybe they dealt out some discipline...... course wouldn't want anyone to loose their job cause they were stupid - but I'd be pretty ticked if my grandson were on a bus with an idiot......... there just have to be standards that are followed.

I just wanted to put a "Fly in the ointment" I shared this on another board in town but the back lash hasen't hit here yet.
This is not the first time this young man has had an issue on the bus.
At the end of last school year he had a problem not much of one but it was bad enough that he went storming into the directors office slaming and throwing things all over the place.
Now I don't know this first hand but I was told that he was directed off the lot and was not allowed to return untill he compleated anger management classes. Well he came back.
This time nothing was going to be done because he is a personal friend of the director, and the fact that Nov. 23 is her last day on the job!!!!!
Again I am told that there was a total rebelion within the ranks and finally under pressure the director had a talk with him and he resigned hummmmmm!

There are several other things going on up there we'll have to stick our nose in themm as well...

Hey this is great! being a newbee and not knowing all your personalities/

Oh you must have misunderstood my statement. I do not proclaim to be a "Brain". It is my job discription in my profile.. handing out brains. I made that statement after reading the entire thread. It is my opinion that the person needing a brain quit.

Hey Sky - I saw your post on the other board - I think the responses were better here - just seemed like it was swept aside over across the street - maybe I'll go check again. I didn't know that what's her name K...... was quitting. I thought she was kinda different but nice. She still made a very bad call on this. Course when your "short" your committment to excellence sometimes starts to wobble.
