Hatchet Game?

It is finally here, THE HATCHET GAME. As a former Red Demon this is a game that not only current players but alumni live for. We have a great team this year and a great show at beating Garden City. They always bring a good fan base to Dodge for this game which makes for a great football atmosphere. ALL Red Demon supporters must be at this game to show your support to our players. Make it LOUD on those 3rd or 4th and shorts, make it tough for their players to communicate on the field. Friday is "RED out the stadium night." Everyone needs to put on something red and get out to the game. Yes it may be a little chilly out but pack a blanket and a sweatshirt and lets help the Demons bring the Hatchet back home where it belongs.

Lets show Garden City that Red Demon Football is back!!!

I heard. Sometimes people's minds are just too closed. I don't get it, but I don't wanna start anything, either. Seems like a small way for the town to show they're behind the team. Ya know, as I think about it, there just might be a corelation between the time a bunch of folks got their panties in a twist about their demon Spirit and Dodge City's High School lost its Spirit...

As I look back over my high school years, the fondest memories were of the pep club, pep rallies and ball games. The students and parents really supported the teams, whether it be football or basketball. I didn't get to many of the baseball games, so I can't speak for them. The Hatchet games was always a big one, sorta like the I-70 series is for the Chiefs. You mean they had enough kids for "teams" way back then???? I am surprised they even had "High School" back then!!! Course, they probably "home schooled" out of the back of the covered wagon!!

I agree with ya on the water tower, Muffie!! It used to look awesome during football games! Same on the uniforms anymore. They got rid of the "Demon" and put on some kind of half assed forked kinda thingy. Course, you had the religious fanatics (or should I say fanatic) bitching about the team mascot.
Just another sign of too much PC in todays society. It is a DAMN MASCOT people----------------Just like the big deal on using INDIAN names-----------give me a BREAK!!!! I wonder if the 'Hooker Horny Toads' or the 'Hereford WhiteFaces' have this much turmoil with their mascot names??? (Hooker, Oklahoma & Herford, Texas--for those who don't know)

I played in three of the hatchett games,,,,, for the Buffs...lol,,, I'll be there Friday too, watching the buffs win,,,, hopefully. Best chance in a long time
for Dodge to win. Good luck
