I still think it should be named after someone that helped Dodge City get on the map before the illegals came to try to wipe it off the map. Or after a teacher of importance that has made a difference in the schools.

I've always wondered why our school names don't reflect our history. We do have Beeson School but I think its named after the street more than Chalk Beeson.
