| Just like I said! Do not allow government to get involved in this issue! Smoking people or non-smoking people listen up! This will not be good, especially down the road. Just open the door up a little, and in the government will come. There goes another right! I am a non-smoker, and certainly do not have any problem with those smoking in their own vehicles. If government can get into your vehicle, then what next??

| When I was in High School (which is the Comanche 5th 6th grade center now), back in the late 80's early 90's, there was no smoking on school grounds, not even in your car. Now if you stood across the street and smoked they didn't have problems with that. I think this rule has been around for awhile, it might be more "public" now. I could be wrong though... been known to happen The Joker |

| I graduated in '03 and I would smoke all the way up to the front door of the HS and put my cigarette out by the door. I guess no one ever saw me because I never got into any trouble (at least not for smoking). ![]()

| I remember the outside caged smoking area.....I also remember being able to smoke outside at the middle school, then the Junior High, during "recess" with the teachers. My, how times have changed......

| Once you let the government in your car there is no stopping it. Telling you what you can do on public property only becomes a problem, for you, when it affects you directly. When they tell us we can't smoke it's no big deal but tell us we can't carry a weapon and all hell breaks loose.

| The Meade County Hospital has a 'policy' asking for no smoking on their property; including folks in cars. They are experiencing nearly 100% compliance WITHOUT any fancy law.
