| check this out...The 4th nd 5th grade center on 1st street (old high school) holds more people than the middle school. The middle school has more studentsa than the school on 1st street does. Why the hell didn't we put the middle school kids at the old high school?

That's exactly what i'm thinking. I think the people on the school board aren't using they're heads very well. The solution isn't just to keep building elementary schools...eventually where are all these kids gonna go when they're done with elementary school??? |

| The school on 1st street is Comanche Intermediate. It holds 5th and 6th students as does Soule Intermediate. The grade schools are busting at the seams and I think they decided to fix the now problem and will worry about the Middle school later. Those qestions were asked. They believe that we will HAVE to pass a new Middle school because we will be so desperate. It will happen. But at the same time, Monster wasnt so far off. They come for a while.. then they leave. Then we are stuck with all these schools. I think they want to get buy with as little as possible so that in the end we dont have empty buildings sitting around. I know it is hard to even think about, but they think possible. There will be room in the new school to expand for a little while. These other schools were packed the minute they moved in. I cant wait to see if we can really see a difference in the other schools, such as smaller class size. Im not holding my breath. We have new kids comming in the district every single day. They have to go somewhere to go to school. Lucky us. |

No wait! The "No Child Left Behind" ensures graduation no matter the education, you know, perfect plant employees, so my guess is the kids don't need Daycare.... er uh a baby sitter.... um.. school after grade school.

| I think they get moved either by their parents or by the system, by the time they are in middle school or highschool. Parents dont have control of them at that time, and they go and do as they please. Im not saying all, but a lot. |

| I was told that in the long run it was going to be cheaper to build Ross than to fix up the Middle School. You also have to look where the schools got the money to build Ross. That should answer any questions as to why it was built. As for filling the school, they are taking teachers & students out of 2 of the largest elementaries to fill Ross next year. This is causing a big stink in the education community. I am close friends with many DC teachers. |

| When This New School Opens: Has Anyone Considered The Air And Noise Pollution On 14th, 6th, Central And The Bypass? Students Are Unable To Walk So The Vehicle Traffic Could Be Considerable When Traffic To Northwest And High School Is Already There I Doubt That It Will Lessen Mustn't Forget The Buses That Will Be Added. Perhaps We Could Have Another Police Station And Auto Repair Shop, Too. |
