"Sixty-two percent said that if the district proposed something, without knowing any details including cost, that they would vote on an election held today either 'strongly favor' or 'favor,'" said Ken DeSieghardt, owner of DeSieghardt Strategic Communications, when he presented the results of the survey to the Board of Education Monday night.

The survey gave respondents the opportunity to support one of four options to address the problem of overcrowding at Dodge City Middle School: building a new middle school, expanding the current school, remodeling Comanche Intermediate Center to become the new middle school or remodeling Hennessey Hall to become the new middle school.

I don't get it! 62% of us blindly support the spending of our tax dollars without even knowing on what, or the cost? Do we really like paying taxes that much?

I can't help but wonder how the survey was worded - I did not get the call. I remember the vote on DodgeBoard went the other way, entirely. Was this survey rigged? Anyone get the call?

I didn't get a call, and I wouldn't blindly vote in favor of something! That's just rediculious!

I agree with what the board thinks.

If ME, you, and everyone else sets on their ass, and does not appear at meeting to express our disprovable, the way they are building schools, and stop voting for a friend or some one that will not listen to the public, this will happen time and time again. We DO NOT need X- USD 443 employees, on the School Board.
