| From the Daily Globe: Quote: "By putting another elementary school online, we can reduce class size to closer to 18 to 21 students per classroom districtwide," Eckelman said. "That's part of the Schools for Fair Funding lawsuit. That's where we said if we had fewer students per class, we could do a better job of educating." This is where we (the majority of citizens), said if something would be done about the ILLEGAL aliens there wouldn't be over crowding in our elementary schools. Oh, but then Seth probably wouldn't have a job, and there wouldn't be the need for new schools put online. And, heaven forbid, our taxes might be lower, or at least be going towards making our city and county roads better.

| You know what? Just forget everything I wrote in my last post. What a complete waste of time discussing/bitching about the illegal immigration issue. This government (local, state, federal) only cares about getting reelected and gaining more power over us poor commoners. We are screwed. As I see it there is only two choices: Revolution, or stick our heads in the sand and say, “Please use plenty of Vaseline.”

| I feel your frustration Doc. As far as the public we're preaching to the choir. As far as local government, we're preaching to deft ears. Far too many people only looking at retail sales from illegals, and not the cost to the city as a whole.

| Where do the middle school students actually live ? Quote:
Where do the most students live ? South of City Hall. And what happened to the less than $20 million addition to the current middle school ? Not cost enough ? The principal of the then Jr. High, in the mid 1960s, has told me that the school could hold then almost a thousand. What's happened to that space ? Offices, more offices, and more offices ? Time to back down this massive new middle school rehab of Hennesey Hall project. It is just not needed when a much less expensive addition to the current middle school would work. And no matter the numbers in 4th and 5th grades, the school total number of students has gone down now for about three years. This is never talked about. |

| I don't understand that either, when I went to school there, it was 6th, 7th and 8th, and they bussed part of the 6th grade to Hennessey Hall for classes. Now they only have 7th and 8th graders there, why do they not have the room. Also I never understood why they put the 5th and 6th graders at the old high school, instead of the middle schoolers. |
